Hiking
- The Dranse riverside path: an easy walk or bike ride! From Châtel to Abondance, follow almost 16 km of riverside walks accessible to all: families, sports enthusiasts, children and pushchairs.
- The sound trail in the footsteps of the smugglers: a fun walk that will delight families. Lasting less than 2 hours and starting on the banks of Lac de Vonnes, you can explore the paths once used by smugglers.
- The "Petit Châtel" loop: An easy 3.8km walk to discover Châtel and the Abondance valley from a slightly higher altitude, as well as some beautiful traditional wooden farmhouses.
The aquatic centre
Just past the Sherpa supermarket is the "Forme d'O Spa", a fitness/balneotherapy centre with an indoor pool (29°C), an outdoor pool (32°C), a play area, 3 saunas and 2 hammams.
In summer, take advantage of the terraces with volleyball, badminton, molkki and slackline....
